Intro:
This is the official collection for the AFTG Reverse Big Bang! For updates and important dates, please check out the fest tumblr!
The Reverse Big Bang is similar to the original Big Bang fest — a collaborative piece between artists and writers. This time around, however, artists will be starting the process and writers will come in later to claim some art to write for.

FAQ:
How do I sign up?
Signup forms for artists and writers will be posted on the event tumblr and on discord on their respective dates. Can I sign up to be both an artist and a writer?
Yes.What are the art requirement?
Traditional, digital and manips are welcome. Artists are required to create a minimum of two pieces (per prompt) for the fest — and there is no maximum! However, artists are not allowed to create more than two prompt pieces. What do I mean by prompt pieces? Each ‘prompt’ is a story for a writer to claim. But for each ‘prompt’, you are allowed to create as many pieces as you like/are able to complete. One of the two prompt pieces must be at least 80% completed for writer claims. When can I start drawing?
You can start drawing as soon as you sign up and receive a confirmation email/discord invite! Can I use art that I've already finished/posted somewhere?
No. All art must be new (unposted), and not part of an AU/series you have previously posted. What are the fic requirements?
Writers are asked to write 8k minimum (no maximum). All fics must be beta’d. If you do not have a beta, you will be assigned one.Can artists tell writers what to write?
No. This is a collaboration. Writers are working with the artists, however they still have to respect the preferred content rating and warnings provided by the artist. The goal is to work together and create something awesome, based on the initial prompt given by the artist!Where do I post my fic?
All works must be posted to the collection and properly tagged. Works will be added to the collection once they are posted in their entirety. What happens during a check-in?
There are several check-ins listed on the schedule. Prior to each one, a form will be sent out for completion. You will be asked to confirm your continuing participation and asked to share your rough work. Can I pre-match with my collaborator?
No, collaborators will claim your work anonymously. If there is an artist/writer who you absolutely do not want to work with, this can be arranged. How does claiming work?
Writers will be sent a slideshow of artwork prompts, along with basic information about the prompt (preferred pairing, preferred rating, brief summary behind the artwork). They will then be asked to submit a list of the prompts they wish to write for, in order of preference, and a list of prompts they are not interested in. Matching will be done by an algorithm to ensure the maximum number of people get their preferred prompt and all prompts are assigned a writer. Depending on number of participants, there may be more than one writer assigned to the same prompt.I still have questions.
If you have any questions/concerns, you can send an ask to the event tumblr or a tumblr message to @gluupor. You can also send an email to [email protected].
