What is the AO3 Wrapped Community Collection?

The collection is a space for creators participating in AO3 Wrapped 2025 to showcase fanworks inspired by their goals for the year. It’s all about celebrating creativity, progress, and the amazing work our community produces!

Who can add works to the collection?

Anyone who meets these requirements:

• Your fanwork contributes to your overall 2025 AO3 Wrapped goal.
• You’re a member of the AO3 Wrapped Discord Server.
• You’re actively participating in AO3 Wrapped 2025.

What kind of works can be added?

Fanworks of all kinds! Whether it’s writing, art, podfic, or something else entirely, as long as it fits your 2025 goals and aligns with community guidelines, it’s welcome here.

Is there a deadline to add works?

You can add works to the collection throughout the year. However, if a specific fest or event has a deadline, those works must be submitted by the event’s end date to qualify.

Can I submit works created for other events or challenges?

Yes, as long as the fanwork contributes to your AO3 Wrapped 2025 goals and meets the collection’s criteria.

Are there any restrictions on submissions?

Works must adhere to the AO3 Wrapped guidelines and community standards. AI-generated or commissioned works are not allowed.

Will there be any events or fests tied to the collection?

Absolutely! We’re excited to announce that our first fest is launching soon, so keep an eye out for details.

Can I promote my work outside the collection?

Yes! Feel free to share your WIPs or finished works on social media or other servers. Just tag them as part of AO3 Wrapped so we can cheer you on!

To ensure the AO3 Wrapped Community Collection remains a supportive, inclusive, and fun space for all creators, please follow these rules when submitting your fanworks:

1. Membership Requirements:

• You must be a member of the AO3 Wrapped Discord Server.
• Participation in AO3 Wrapped 2025 is mandatory to submit works to the collection.

2. Contribution to Goals:

• Submitted works must contribute to your overall 2025 AO3 Wrapped goals.

3. Fanwork Types:

• All fanworks are welcome, including writing, art, podfics, and more.
• Minimum requirements include:
• Written works: At least 500 words.
• Podfics: At least 3 minutes long.
• Art: Any medium is acceptable.

4. Prohibited Submissions:

• AI-generated or commissioned works are not allowed.

5. Posting Requirements:

• Works should comply with AO3’s tagging and formatting guidelines.

6. Engagement & Respect:

• Engage thoughtfully with the community by supporting other creators with Kudos and Comments.
• Be kind and respectful in your feedback and interactions.

7. Deadlines:

• Works can be submitted to the collection at any point during 2025, except for seasonal fests or events, which will have specific deadlines.

8. Moderation:

• All submissions will be reviewed by the Modmin team to ensure they meet community and collection guidelines.

9. Sharing & Anonymity:

• You’re free to share WIPs and completed works outside of the collection.
