Written for a 2008 gift exchange request for a not too fluffy Christmas story with the boys and Gus. Set post S5, it's not awfully nice to either Michael or the girls, but not too nasty either.
Michael and the girls have a family Christmas planned in Toronto and expect Brian to be there. Brian has his own plans which will take him in a different direction. It will take a bit of behind the scenes work from some Christmas Fairies to organise a suitably happy Christmas ending.

This is my post S5 fic. To understand some of it you should really read my S5 re-write, Reverberations. Some of the things that come up in Homecoming are based on substantial differences to canon.
It starts approximately seven months after Justin left Pittsburgh to seek fame and fortune in New York.
The first chapter was originally published in June 2005.
The overall story is followed by Homework, which I am still working on.
There are also a few odd one offs that fit roughly into the Homecoming universe, most of them future!fics.

Summary
When I started my post-S5 fic, Homecoming, I came to the conclusion that it just wasn't possible to write about the characters as they were depicted in canon S5. I hated that whole series (well, except for a few scenes) with a deep and abiding passion. Even now, just on ten years later, just thinking about it infuriates me.
So ... that was the genesis of Reverberations.
It's basically a re-write of canon S5, focusing primarily of course, on Brian and Justin.
