Edit, 2025: I wrote that description in 2018 when I first started this and am only now realising it may be just slightly too vague a description. Hindsight, 20/20, so on so forth.
One day, while tucked in a hospital bed after an incident of her own creation (though she will deny it up and down), Steve Rogers allows Nora Joseph to write a letter to his best friend, out on the front lines while painkillers are filling her system. What follows is an exchange of letters that changes the course of Nora & Bucky's lives for good. or bad. who knows? Certainly not them.
