Laurent raised a skeptical eyebrow, despite the fluttering of his heart. “You do this with all of your potential hookups?” The slow progression to bed seemed counterproductive to the purpose of the app; even Laurent knew that.

When Laurent escapes his uncle’s business of exploiting the fact he’s a chimera - a human and animal hybrid - he literally bumps into Damen, the son of an old family friend whom he hadn’t seen in years.
Damen had just found out his fiance had been cheating on him, and uses the opportunity to help Laurent as a way to distract himself from the heartbreak. But he didn’t count on the fact that his old crush on Laurent from when they were young teens would come creeping back.
