Welcome to Catholic Lockwood Week 2025, our inaugural year!

Catholic Lockwood Week builds off of a storied tradition in the Lockwood and Co community of headcanoning Lockwood as Catholic and invites you to participate in it! This year's event runs from October 26-November 2, 2025.

1. What is this?

A celebration of the headcanon that Lockwood is Catholic!

2. Why?

Hallowtide is important to Catholicism, and spooky times are important to Lockwood and Co, so now seemed an excellent time to combine them. Deliberately, the Week ends on All Souls Day for reasons I'm sure you can suss out!

3. Who can participate? Do I have to be Catholic myself?

Catholic Lockwood Week is open to anyone and everyone regardless of faith! Do you like Lockwood and Co? Do you have something interesting to say, covertly or overtly about Lockwood or any of the Portland Row crew and Catholicism? Do you just like the prompts and want to do something with one or more of them? So long as you follow the rules, you're more than welcome to participate!

4. When is this taking place again?

October 26-November 2, 2025!

5. What types of fanwork are allowed?

Anything! Fics, fan art, gifsets, etc. If what you want to create is not supported by AO3, feel free to use the tag #Catholic Lockwood Week 2025 on your preferred social media to participate!

6. Can I cross post my work on tumblr/X/etc.?

Absolutely! Feel free to use the official tag #Catholic Lockwood Week 2025 wherever you post

7. You mentioned prompts. Are those mandatory?

Nope! Appreciated, yes, but not mandatory.

8. Where can I find the prompts?

9. What do I do if I'm writing/creating something, but I won't be able to post in time?

Depending on what that issue is, I may be able to help you out! Dm me @lilaccatholic on tumblr, and we'll see what we can do

1. No blasphemy, smut, inappropriate relationships involving one or more members of the clergy, or desecration of the Eucharist
2. Keep it pg-13
3. Your work does not have to be finished before the week is over, but you do have to have something posted before November 3rd at midnight, unless you've arranged something with Lilac otherwise, in order to be counted
4. Use of one or more of the prompts is encouraged, but not mandatory
5. Bonus points if you aim to write something true, good, and beautiful!
