  Best character writing IM NGL. WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT BOTH AVERY AND DEREK HAVE EXTREME CRIPPLING LONELINESS. I love Avery's obsession with Derek and its completely understandable this is the guy willing to sacrifice the world of it meant staying with Derek. This is the guy who said he owes his life to him. The way Derek is written is just chefs kiss for me. His curiosity getting the beter of him which is why he allows Avery's actions because its interesting to him. While also showing Derek's loneliness in his own life leading to this weird codependent relationship where neither one can pull away.

  I love this fic series so much because it encapsulates their characters perfectly and giving this ship dynamic life. Because lets be fr they are both NOT normal under these circumstances.
