Rules:
There are only two hard and fast rules for Dominion Week.
The first is that you tag everything appropriately. This is a fanwork challenge centered around a dystopian empire. Dark themes will come up. However, different readers have different preferences, so please be specific in your tagging.
The second, newly added this year, is that you focus on the actions, perspectives, and motives of Dominion characters as much as possible. You do not have to agree with those perspectives, but the point isn't to write from a point of view that you wholeheartedly morally endorse, it's to write from a point of view that can be interesting if explored with sensitivity and care. If you need an example of what I'm talking about, a story of a Changeling infiltrator trying to avoid detection aboard a Federation starship would be acceptable— a story about an intrepid Federation crew trying to hunt down and exterminate a Changeling infiltrator, however, would not be.
