Epic 7 - Debuff Challenge

The E7 Debuff Challenge is an Open challenge in which you are prompted to write about an Epic 7 Character experiencing the effects of a debuff.

Pairings are welcome (and encouraged!) What better way to bond than through the turmoil of battle?

Your work must be between 100-1000 words. You can submit to the challenge multiple times, and you can repeat characters/pairings.

A list of debuffs in is the rules section, but you can also find them here.

All are welcome to submit! Your characters are bound to get debuffed at some point in their history of fighting for you, why not elaborate on it? ;)

FAQ:

Q: Can I give the character multiple debuffs?
A: Absolutely!

Q: Can both characters be debuffed?
A: If you wish it, yes!

Q: Can I write about just one character, not a pairing?
A: Absolutely!

Q: Do they have to be in a team of 4?
A: Nope! You can swap the numbers around as much as you want, whether that be a team of 4, 3, 2, or 1.

Q: Does the tone of the fic have to angsty?
A: Hahaha, absolutely not! If you want to go silly with the debuffs, go ahead. (Could think of a few things at the top of my head that could be funny with Sleep or Decreased Speed for example, hehe.)

Q: Do the debuffs have to be received from someone/something that canonly has the ability to do so?
A: Nope, you have creative liberty here! If you want to invent a symaqus that has the ability to inflict Stigma, go for it.

Q: What do I do when I'm done my fic?
A: Upload your fic as you usually do-- when you are in the Collections section, start typing E7_DebuffChallenge and this should pop up! Click it and you're golden. :)

You can also tag it with "Debuff Challenge" if you'd like, but that's up to you!

Q: I have a question that isn't here!
A: Hey, no worries! Message me on Discord (Jabby#9131) or Twitter (@jabbloo) and I'll get right to you! <3

Rules:

1) Select a character to receive a debuff.
2) Pick a debuff from the list below.
3) Write! Remember, it must be between 100-1000 words. You are optionally encouraged to think about the battle mechanics and ways that integrate that into the conflict or the characterization (i.e. a character having high effect resistance might be able to resist being provoked and you could attest this to them being strong of will, smug, or maybe even dense? )
