Scenario A: Elliot sees Olivia the exact time she was looking at him and Dani through the blinds in Cragen’s office. Olivia hurries to leave but Elliot catches her at the elevator.
Scenario B: Olivia sees Elliot and Dani kiss. Elliot sees her at the same time. Olivia walks away like she saw nothing, but Elliot runs after her. He tries to explain why he did it. And Olivia’s like ‘you don’t have to explain anything to me, it’s not like I have claim on you’. And Elliot’s like that’s not true.
Whatever scenario you pick, make it end up with an insecure Olivia thinking what she and Elliot have is not special because she assumed that he’s like that with Dani Beck too. But Elliot proves her wrong and confesses his feelings for her. And how lost he was when she was gone.

Olivia is not happy about it, but she has no choice but accept Elliot back in the unit. She buries her feelings for him to protect herself from getting hurt again, she keeps him at arms length. But Elliot has a different plan.
And so some sort of unspoken game begins. Olivia is in operation give-Elliot-Stabler-hell-until-he-decides-to-leave-again, while Elliot is in operation do-everything-to-win-back-Olivia’s-heart.I wanna see a civil, but passive-aggressive Liv in the workplace. And an Elliot who has a lot of gimmick up his sleeves. Make it a good blend of angst and comedy.
This goes on for longer than they like until one of them cracks. Writer decides who cracks first. Can be both, too.
