“It doesn’t matter ,” Erwin whispers. “It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks of you. It never will. You are wonderful regardless, in every aspect. I wish you understood that as much as I do.”
Levi bites his cheek.
“Do I have to make you understand?”
Levi makes a fool of himself while on a date with Erwin, and the experience manages to makes him insecure about his height. No matter how many times Erwin tries to assure him he's fine just the way he is, Levi can't bring himself to agree. So, Erwin decides to take matters into his own hands.

Not that it was any of Levi’s business. Not that it was anyone’s business, really. But even Levi left the barracks from time to time to seek physical release, as did most of the soldiers. Some even fooled around with each other.
