She and her classmates had been through some extensive trauma- especially those who saw Izuku die before their eyes. Still not over her long time crush and best friend, she throws herself into hero work trying to make up for the lost-soul.
That is until one day she meets the serial-murder villain (who I will mention tried to kill her and her friends), Toga Himiko, trying to kill herself in a alleyway.
If Ochako really was a hero she would have turned her in.
