Summary
Langa and his mother moved to Okinawa after the passing of his father. Perhaps it was time for a change, as their home back in Canada had been nothing but a constant reminder of his father’s absence. Now in Japan, Langa doesn’t expect much to change in his life, other than the culture.
How surprised he was when he started his first day of school and sat by a certain redhead, who smelled like the most tantalizing thing he’s ever smelled, which definitely awoke something in him.
Calm down, it only awoke the vampire blood in Langa. Oh, right, forgot to mention, Langa is a half-vampire and now having a thirsting crisis.

Summary
Reki is trying to get his life back together after crossing Adam and spending three years suffering for it. With the support of his family, he's getting back on his feet and rediscovering his passions. The mysterious skater with light blue hair who skates in the park near Reki's house starts to reawaken his interest in skateboarding.
Langa has stumbled his way into being a pro skater after moving to Okinawa, but his heart has never been in it. Everything feels like something to pass the time, and all he wants is to feel that joy he used to get from snowboarding. Slowly, the mysterious redhead who watches him skate starts to make Langa feel like he might be able to get back to that heart-pounding feeling after all.

Summary
“Please, Reki?”
Langa was still holding onto his hand, tight enough to keep him from reflexively pulling away. About 99% of Reki’s brainpower was occupied with the task of analyzing the warmth of Langa’s fingers and the pressure of his grip, and the remaining 1% whirred and stalled like an old computer trying to run a program that had outpaced its processing power. Reki was left floundering, searching for something to say in answer.
“Please,” Langa said again, more softly this time. He squeezed Reki’s hand. “I thought more about what it must’ve been like for you to see me fall off that bridge tonight. I think I fell for a long time. I wasn’t scared then, because you were there with me… but when I think about how worried you must have been… I feel worried, too.”
Reki’s heart squeezed painfully inside his chest.
“No, Langa... everything’s fine now. I don’t want you to feel worried.”
“Then don’t sleep on the floor. Please.”
Reki swallowed. Langa’s expression was calm, but his eyes were pleading. He was afraid. They both were.
“Okay,” Reki murmured. “I won’t.”

Summary
Langa doesn’t understand why everyone keeps looking at him when Reki’s right there beside him.
He wanted so much. Probably too much. Honestly, it was unreasonable for him to ask so much from Reki so soon — to constantly seek out more and more, as much as he could wring out of Reki. Logically, he knew that.
Despite knowing that, Langa couldn’t help himself. Regardless, he wanted everything Reki had available to give. After all, Langa was just a man, suddenly gifted with the attention of the prettiest thing he’d ever seen in his life. How could he have done anything else?
