The world ended a while ago when Earthbread was engulfed in darkness, but it only really ended for fire spirit when he locked eyes with Night Raven instead of Wind Archer, along with an arrow struck through his ribs.
And like that, died Fire Spirit, leaving behind Lord of Ash to deal with the remains of his life and the love that never died, The one and only thing the arrow spared.
Even if who he loves should've bore the colours of green, not purple.

“I couldn’t even if I truly wanted to.” He whispered, slowly backing away from the spirit and removing his hand from his face, giggling softly at seeing the surprised and redder than normal expression coming from Fire Spirit. “Rest well, Fire Spirit.”
