Summary
Hera Potter always felt like a piece of her was missing.
When Hagrid told her about the Wizarding World and she learned that magic was real and all the weird things she did growing up were accidental magic, she thought that was it, that what she was missing was her magic.
Was not.
And Hera only discovered what it was after receiving the ring from her ancestor, Iolanthe Peverell, the most beautiful ring she had ever seen, made of black steel, with very mesmerising purple ripples and a dragon with pink sapphire eyes.
It was Valyria. The piece that was missing from her.
It was her home calling her.
OR, the one where Hera accidentally falls into another world and not-so-accidentally creates an empire never before seen even at the height of Valyria with the help of her father. All while causing some chaos, of course.

"Daemon peers down at the child, mind already set upon disliking the offspring of the woman he was forced to marry. He expects to find a baby with dark hair and tanned skin, to serve as permanent reminders of the wife he despised. Instead, he sees the face of a daughter unmistakably his own, with porcelain white skin, fine strands of silver hair and striking violet eyes."
Daemon is eager for his daughter, Princess Visenya, to grow up at court with her family in order to secure her royal station. Too late does he realize the consequences of bringing Visenya and Aemond Targaryen together.
Not canon compliant with the House of the Dragon books or TV series (obviously since my main character does not exist). If you like Aemond and want to see him get a happy ending like I do, then hopefully you'll enjoy this!

Having Aerion Targaryen as a son isn’t easy. Maekar knows that too well. Especially when said son is described as “a spawn of satan” by everyone but one person - Duncan Tall. To him, Aerion is the sweetest man ever. The love of his life.
Maekar is sure that his son’s relationship with Duncan won’t last. They’re complete opposites. But unfortunately for him, it does last. Longer than any of Aerion’s other relationships.
And as if witnessing his son receive ‘Dunk & Aerion’ themed dragon plushies or walking in on him and his boyfriend having sex wasn’t enough… there’s more.
That is until Duncan asks Maekar for his blessing to take Aerion’s hand in marriage.
