Summary
Rose Tico will do almost anything to avoid being married off to a surly old man like Enric Pryde, even if that means cooking up a deceptive plot with the snooty, disagreeable Armitage Hux. It started with Armitage Hux proposing an idea that she was sure was the worst anyone had ever had.
The whole “pretending to be engaged to her former rival turned business partner” — thing.
And it's all wound down to this: her, in the passenger seat of the pickup truck she spent a year and a half restoring, petrified by the the Laura-fucking-Ingalls style driving snow as Hux white-knuckles the steering wheel.
