This is an exquisite exploration of scenes that shows rather than tells how two people can express themselves without really having to say it. There is a wonderful depth of care and intimacy that shines through nearly ever line. This is great writing! I love how VesperRegina writes this complex, difficult, & ultimately compelling couple!

This story deserves so much more love than it actually has. Seriously! It has one of the best tension building, slow burning, relationships between the two main protagonist that I have ever read. And I read a lot!
There is nothing better than a twisting, turning, ride to get to the very satisfactory ending.
Better still, the resolution speaks of a maturity rarely ever seen in fics like this. This is SUCH a good story!

Just starting to dip my toes into this fandom, courtesy of Fukuyama Masaharu, and this was such a wonderful and intelligently written fic to start out with! Can't wait to read the books by Higashino and watch the series later.
