Summary
Kakyoin jerks awake on a train, his face pressed against the clear glass. It’s dim. The lights overhead flicker as they hurry through the dark, the scream of the wheels muted by the closed windows. There’s nothing visible through the window. Kakyoin stands on unsteady legs, and glances around the cars, certain that there’s something he was meant to be doing. His gaze trips over empty seats and blank space until it lands on a single spot of bright hair up ahead.
