What is InuParents Day?
InuParents day is an Inuyasha fandom day event celebrating our love for the InuParents (Touga and Izayoi) Ship. We’re making and sharing art, stories, headcanons, playlists… anything and everything.
We’re celebrating on Saturday January 16th, since Izayoi translates as “sixteenth night”.

Who can participate in InuParents Day?
You! Yes you right now reading this! Everyone is invited to participate. Whether its creating new pieces of art and fic for the event, sharing your head canons or older works, or just reblogging and spreading some love around the fandom!

What about SessMom?
We love Inukimi!
We support creators to explore her as a character and her role in Touga/Izayoi’s relationship. Are they poly? Are they divorced? A political marriage? Is SessMom supportive of their relationship, dismissive, or angry? The answers are up to you.

I won’t have my drawing/story/playlist/etc done on the 16th, can I still participate?
Yes of course! Just be sure to tag us in your completed work on Tumblr and/or request to add to the collection here!

I have a story/art piece from before. Can I add to the collection too?
If you have an already established story, or fanart you already posted, that you would like to add to the Inuparents Collection, you are welcome to do so!

How do we post artwork to this collection?
Good question! If you have an AO3 account, you can post to the collection using it. You will need to upload your artwork elsewhere, and grab the permalink to it. When you do that, you can use the rich text editor to add the art image.

Alternatively, if you want to, you can edit the html yourself! Here's a template to do so (noting this also centers the image!):
