This came to mind a couple of days ago.
What if, instead of going to the Jujustu world, Alex accidently goes to the Demon Slayer world. She is found by a couple in the snow and taken in.
This couple are the Kamado's and she becomes part of their family.

Summary
Farhana and Giyuu are from a village in the Tokito province namely Nogata. The inarigawa river fows through the middle and an abundance of nature was bestowed on the people, in return if a favour. Each decade, a child couple were to be chosen, forced upon marriage and children and the child was the gift to the siren demon. This was a price they were willing to pay.
