Welcome to the Lout of the Count's Family Prompt Challenge!

This is a collection where anyone can submit prompts related to the novel/manhua [Lout of the Count's Family] that they want to see written/drawn out.

We welcome any kind of prompt/fic/art related to the Lout of the Count's Family including crossovers, works involving rare pairings, etc.

Feel free to contribute and/or enjoy!

What is a prompt challenge?
A prompt challenge is where:
1. Anyone can submit a prompt for whatever they want to see in a fic/art/fanwork.
and 2. Anyone who is interested in a prompt can choose to fill it and create a fic/art/fanwork based off of the prompt.

In the prompt challenge, you can submit as many prompts as you want. You can also fill as many prompts as you want, though filling prompts isn't required. It's fine to just keep writing prompts/ideas that you want to see written/drawn of [Lout of the Count's Family]!!!

What is allowed?
In this prompt challenge, any prompt/content (rare pairings, crossovers, chatfics, etc) is allowed as long as it relates to the [Lout of the Count's Family] WITH THE EXCEPTION of nsfw material. NSFW prompts/works are NOT allowed and they will be REMOVED.

Do I have to claim prompts in order to submit them OR submit prompts in order to claim them?
No! You can choose to solely submit prompts or solely create content or do both! Participation for every aspect of the challenge is on a voluntary basis, though I both hope and highly encourage you to give it a try.

How many prompts can I submit?
You can submit as many as you want! - is what I want to say, but AO3 only allows 50 prompt submissions per account. (I guess if you really want, you can ask others to submit prompts for you or use extra accounts haha)

How do I submit a prompt?
To submit a prompt, you first need an AO3 account. Once you are on your AO3 account, what you can do is to click on the Prompt Form link in the menu. From there, all you need to do is to fill out the form and submit. (Note: AO3 only allows you to submit up to 50 prompts per account.)

How do I claim a prompt?
If you have an Ao3 account, you can click the “Claim” button next to any prompt you would like to claim. You can do this for as many prompts as you wish to fulfill.

Multiple people can choose to claim and fulfill the same prompt so don't be afraid to write/draw something for a prompt that's already been claimed!

How do I fill a prompt?
1. You can fulfill a claimed prompt by selecting the “Fulfill” button beside the one you wish to complete.
2. This opens the Post New Work form with the assignment details already filled in, the collection selected, and with the prompt added to the beginning Notes section.

Alternatively, you can fulfill the assignment by going to the Post New Work form. In the Associations section, select the checkbox for the open claim you are completing. When you post or preview the work, the details of the Prompt Meme and prompter will be automatically filled in for you. The work will be added to the Prompt Meme's collection; however, the prompt itself won't be automatically added to the beginning Notes section.

Can other people see what I prompt?
Yes, but there is also an option to choose to prompt anonymously if you wish on the Prompt Form.

How many prompts can I claim?
As many as you like! We all hope and hunger for content so feel free to claim and fill as many prompts as you want <3

Can other people see what I claim?
Yes, claims are visible to everyone on the prompts page. Fills that are posted to the collection will also have revealed/un-anonymous creators. (Though if you do want to fill a prompt with an anonymous work, you can still add your work to an anonymous collection to post anonymously.)

Do I have to have an AO3 account to prompt and claim?
Yes.

Is Lout of the Count's Family the same thing as Trash of the Count's Family?
Yes. XD

Is there a place where I can discuss my AU with someone?

The TCF Support Group Discord is one of the more active TCF/LCF discords where a lot of fans and AO3 writers for TCF/LCF talk about tcf and their au fic ideas. If you're hungry for food, then there are plenty of ideas/prompts, drabbles/excerpts/fic extras (even a 500+ page Google Doc of the Red Dragon!KRS fic), fanart and fanworks, and other misc. things there too. Feel free to join and enjoy :D

My prompt isn't being picked up and I'm desperate to read about it. What should I do?
Well, there's a famous saying in all fandoms. It is: If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself.

Sometimes we have to learn to cook for ourselves to not starve XD

It's been a while since I read LCF. Where can I find resources, references, and trivia information to help me write a fanfic for it?
Timelines, trivia information, character information, battle summaries, relative age comparisons, etc. can be found on the Trash of the Count's Family wiki.
