EDITED SUMMARY:
Daryl and Merle Dixon have a sister, Brandi-Lynn, who survived the Apocalypse with them thanks to a call from Daryl at the start.
Brash, rude, a Dixon through and through, but with her heart in the right place, how will the presence of Brandi-Lynn change the story we already know?
Not everyone who survived, will, not everyone who lived, will. Daryl's twin, it seems, changes everything.Follows the story Canon / non-canon due to the inclusion of Brandi and the fact that Shane lives.

🕸️ they never did love her mother.
“Pa wasn’t no daddy, Merle might’ve been my daddy but he’s long gone, and you for sure ain’t my daddy, so get off my ass.”
Destiny Dixon is fucking strange. It’s the only way to describe her. She gets yelled at for staring at the lady friends her Pa and her brother bring home. She’s gruff and unsociable like the rest of her family, and she doesn’t look like she even remotely belongs to them. Her mama, a—probably illegal—Mexican woman that Pa had never wanted to admit knocking up. She’d married Will Dixon, suffering through his infidelity and addictions, and promptly kicked the bucket when her daughter was five.
The good thing about being strange and a Dixon is that there isn’t anyone to see you being an awkward, unsociable asshole. Dusty—she hates Destiny, makes her sound like as much of a whore as her mother was—had spent her childhood isolated with only immature grown men for company, and now that the dead are rising and she’s been thrust in to a camp full of rather normal people, Dusty’s gotta get her shit together. She can’t rely on her brothers forever.

Summary
After enduring more than her fair share of heartache, Lydia Stewart had hoped fate’s cruelty was done with her. The rural outdoorswoman’s life had been rooted in the sub-arctic forests of Alaska and the traditions that had been left to her by the generations before her. However, the loss of her grandmother made it impossible for her to find solace in the familiar land of her ancestors, and unable to find refuge at home, the raven haired woman sought to mend her grieving heart in unfamiliar lands.
Lydia’s work as a wildland firefighter found her traveling from Alaska to Georgia, where amidst the heat and chaos of flames she briefly crossed paths with a man whose stormy eyes and brooding demeanor left a fleeting mark on her. Weeks of digging, chopping, and carrying the southern land on her back fortified the northerner, and she emerged from the forest to find a world unravelling.
Fate twisted once more and enter Daryl Duane Dixon, broodier than ever and sporting a self-induced arrow wound. Together, they had no choice but to navigate the ruins of a world that they no longer recognized, bound by fate and fortified by the unexpected strength that they found in each other.
