Summary
Luchino's definition of a perfect summer would resemble a deserted island: nothing but himself, his specimina, and journals he can fill with little to no interruption. However, those he lives with have other plans for him, and he finds himself hosting a petting zoo at an end of summer carnival.

Summary
Luca had almost forgotten how much he liked parties.
This shindig had been Demi’s idea, as these things so often were. A lakeside bonfire to send off the late summer, complete with swimming in the shallows, enough food to feed an army, and as many drinks as Demi could mix. She had apparently roped Ms. Grace into it, who had roped Madame Mary into it, which meant that almost every hunter and survivor had made it out to relax and socialize on the Lakeside map, taking advantage of the rare moment of peace in the manor.
Between the gentle lapping of the waves and the smell of fire in the air, Luca is utterly in his element.
---
Luca indulges in some people watching at a party, and gets joined by an unexpected friend. -

Summary
The banter shared between the two is light, teasing and amused tones dripping off of two clever tongues that find themselves caught in conversation more often than not. Perhaps it is unwise to let the two converse for too long, however, for ideas like this wind up popping up: a simple stroll along the shoreline, getting away from the bigger festivities as soon as they both can, turns into a biology lesson. And it all started with the sighting of a yellow-bellied sea snake that had washed ashore.

Summary
Running away from the edge of hell, doing bounty-hunting for a living, hell-resident Boneflute made a contract with Master Horrendous of Paradise at the edge of his insanity. For a price Boneflute had yet to mention, he took the role of the Baron of the demon’s banquet which for a demon he shouldn’t be too overwhelmed, but he did.
Meanwhile Horrendeous had a taste of freedom beyond the mortal realms and perhaps by a chance encounter, he could fix an eon-long marital dispute and had a taste of sweet music made by molten hellfire.
