IT'S ALIIIIVE!

This is a multifandom fic and art exchange themed around mad science: Whether it's scientists on various points along the sanity spectrum, characters who were resurrected through unethical scientific methods, characters who were created in a test tube and escaped from the lab... if there are morally dubious practices of the (pseudo)-scientific arts involved, it counts!

Minimums are 300 words or a 500px sketch on unlined paper containing one fandom and character from your recipient's request, which respects their DNW.

Nominations:
- Nominations will start before sign-ups but run concurrently.
- You can nominate 10 fandoms, 10 characters each, and 5 freeforms. Freeforms will not be used in matching.
- Theme compliance: Nominated fandoms and characters are encouraged to be related to mad science, but don't have to be. Freeforms must be related to the theme and may include AUs. The final request should be theme-compliant.
- Original Work nominations are allowed. Crossover nominations are allowed and go under Crossover Fandom.
- Creator's Choice of Mad Science Fandom is allowed.
- RPF Fandoms are allowed; RPF characters must be over 18 and famous in their own right. Controversial figures (politicians, serial killers, etc.) from the 20th and 21st century are not allowed.

Signups:
- Please clearly identify DNWs in your signup!
- 3-10 requests with 1 Fandom, 1-20 Characters each, and 1-20 freeforms
- 1-10 offers with 1 Fandom, 1-20 Characters each
- Matching will be on Fandom + Character, not medium or freeform! Freeforms are there as in-built prompts and guidelines for the creator but following them isn't mandatory.
- Unmatchable requests will be sent to pinch hit in EAD (but as this is a flash exchange, there is no gift guarantee). Unmatchable offers will be deleted. Please check that you are matchable before sign-ups close!

Gifts and treats:
- Gifts must contain at least one requested fandom and character and respect the DNWs. Medium is fic or art and up to the creator. Including at least one freeform from the request is encouraged but not mandatory.
- Recipients are free to opt into a medium other than fic or art in their sign-up to receive it as their assigned gift, but whether the gift meets the minimum is between them and the creator.
- Creation minimum for assigned gifts is 300 words for fic or a 500px clean sketch on unlined paper for art.
- Treats have no creation minimum and can be in any medium, not just fic and art. Treats must still respect the DNWs.
- You may post treats/gifts with no recipient to the collection.
- AI-generated works are not permitted in this exchange.
