Magic That Feels Magical
Canon magic can feel flat. Whether because it wasn't always well thought out, or it's used more as a plot device than a world building tool, magic can feel like an afterthought. Even, sometimes, like the story wouldn't change much if it was removed entirely.
This is a collection of fics (some of my favorites) where magic is an integral part of the world, the characters, and the story they tell. Deep, rich, intrinsic to nearly every word, magic is the life of these fics. They eat it, they bleed it, they could never be the same without it!
I don't know if anyone will ever actually be checking this out. This is mostly just for me to have a place to organize some of my favorite fics without having to wrangle my too many bookmarks to find what I'm looking for. This made the most sense as all of these fics, while very different, have one core thing in common: magic!
That, and sometimes I look through the collections my fav fics have been added to so I can maybe find some similar ones. Thought I'd pay it forward. If that's why you're here, welcome! Hope you find something awesome!

Summary
The Wixen world is run by powerful witches called Queen's and their courts, surrounded by a traditional pagan society. They control the magical world and all that live in it.
But things are stirring, and coming out of the shadows. The Aos Sí, the dangerous Fae who were once worshiped as gods are not as gone and faded into myth as the Wixen world hopes.
Hermione boards the Hogwarts express ignorant of any of this. She is going to have to learn and learn fast.
For the courts, society, and the Fae will not go easier on her because of her disadvantage of muggle up bringing.
No it will be quiet the opposite.She is going to have to use every bit of her intelligence to help her as she fights to understand this culture, protects and stop other queens from stealing the males that belong to her, figure out why on earth the Fae are so interested in her.
Helped along the way by two boys, one famous the other half feral. Plus a reluctant sixth year Slytherin and a thoroughly bemused Potion Master.
All before finally take her rightful place in this brave new world.
