Intro:
Welcome to Mechanisms Femslash Week, a week celebrating all F/F ships in the Mechanisms! The event is running from August 24th-August 30th 2020.
This event will run for seven days. Each day, everyone is encouraged to post some kind of fanwork (fanfiction, fanart, moodboards, etc) featuring an F/F Mechanisms ship! Each day will have a prompt that you can go off of, but they’re just there for inspiration—it’s totally fine to do something else!
The prompts are:
August 24th: Domesticity
August 25th: Music
August 26th: Family
August 27th: Angst
August 28th: Memories
August 29th: Rebellion
August 30th: Stars OR Modern AUYou can find us on Tumblr at MechsFemslashWeek. If you post your work on Tumblr, tag it #MechsFemslashWeek and I'll reblog it!

FAQ:
Q: What kind of fanworks are allowed?
A: Anything! Fanart, fanfiction, song lyrics, moodboards—anything you want to create.Q: What ships are allowed?
A: Any F/F ships within the actual Mechanisms (e.g. Ivy/Raphaella) or from any of the albums (e.g. Loki/Sigyn, Cinders/Rose).While I’ll reconsider this if someone sends me something canonical stating that Ashes considers themself female-aligned, works including Ashes are currently not allowed out of a desire to not misgender them. I know that nonbinary WLW exist—I’m one of them—but everything I’ve seen of Ashes’ gender presentation indicates they’re completely neutral, so allowing them in this would feel too much like misgendering for my comfort.
Nastya/Aurora is allowed.
Q: Are polyships (i.e. ships with 3+ people) allowed?
A: Polyships are allowed as long as at least two people involved are female (e.g. Marius/Ivy/Raphaella is fine, Marius/Tim/Jonny is not).Q: Is NSFW content allowed?
A: Yes! To keep the official blog minor-friendly, NSFW content won’t be reblogged there, but you’re absolutely allowed to post it.Q: Are there any rules about the sexual/romantic/gender orientation of the characters?
A: The characters in your work can identify with any orientation as long as they’re attracted to women! As you interact with other people’s works, please remember that none of these characters have canonical orientations, and other people’s headcanons are just as valid as yours.
