Summary
Kim Hongjoong has managed to carve out a life for himself as the Captain of the Destiny, a successful swift merchant vessel that specializes in low volume high value goods and expedited deliveries around the various ports of the Circle Sea. The Destiny is full of misfits (except for Jongho, who mostly tolerates their eccentricities) but they're a happy, if occasionally dysfunctional, family.

Summary
Years ago, a young boy discovered a half-human creature washed up on the seashore not far from his grandmother’s house- and the house he had grown only to know. Sensing something was wrong, the boy takes a quick look at the creature before scooping it up and bringing it back to the house where he then kept it in the bathtub so it wouldn’t dry out. Within weeks, the creature not only starts improving in health, but also warms up to the boy who saved him, and desperate to thank him makes great attempts at communicating until the boy proposes a drawing/writing system for the two to use until they developed a verbal means of communication. It was now that the two began deeply bonding and understanding each other and after years spent living together, they developed feelings for each other. Being too shy to confess, both boy and creature make great attempts at expressing their love for each other until one fateful day.
