Miroku leaned forward, breaking through her bubble of space with those blue eyes fixated on her. “What if you have a good reason to watch the sunrise? What if it was your last chance?”
Sango bit her lip, confused by the conversation but willing to swing it. Again, stranger things had been done and asked. “Then sure. Probably.”
“Mark your words, Sango,” he murmured, singsong and sweet. He rapped his knuckle on the table and then pushed his way out of the booth.
No one in Miroku's family has ever lived to see their 30th birthday, so he spends every day like it's his last. When he meets Sango, a woman with no time and too much stress, it's easy to get caught up in her. Too caught up in her. But Miroku turns thirty in only a handful of days.

Inuyasha and Kagome are sick of their friends Sango and Miroku arguing. Miroku plays the field and Sango does not thankyouverymuch. So they claw at each other over it and hurt each other, because neither idiot will admit why they do it (their secretly being in love is obvious to all their friends). After a particularly exhausting exchange, Inuyasha and Kagome concoct a plan to get their friends together once and for all. Because camping and canoeing is good for the soul, especially when the two souls in question need each other as desperately as Miroku and Sango do.
