Summary
When the flow of money follows family lines, oftentimes marriage is not born of love as much as it is of convenience—especially when a family with a Legacy is involved.
It is in the late autumn months when the sole heir to the Edgeworth Legacy arrives in town to help a few dear friends—also a family with a formidable Legacy—settle into their new estate. None of them are prepared to meet their new gossipy countryside neighbors, or the unorthodox clan that is the Feys, or the nobody with no wealth or living family who the Feys so kindly house, Phoenix Wright. Indeed, under normal circumstances, the paths of such opposite persons with such different connections might never have crossed.
So why can't Miles Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright seem to escape one another?
