Back home, Neteyam was a hunter. An unparalleled archer of his age. An expert ikran rider. Here in the reefs of Awa’atlu, it was as if the waves had washed away all of his past—his training, his accomplishments, his stature. Everything except his family and their expectations, because above all else, he was an eldest son.
But there was one thing he hadn’t lost to the water. His hands, that had made his bow from the remains of the Home Tree, that had made the visor he donned on his last ride from the mountains. His hands, that could weave and build. His skills of craft would always stay with him, and they could be just the thing to help the Sully family acclimatize to sea life—the way for him to protect his family.(In which Neteyam uses Na’vi craftsmanship to make gear for swimming.)

Summary
When Ao’nung came to life, his parents received a message from Eywa. According to the Great Mother, their first born’s love would fall from the sky.
The days and the years passed, and Ao’nung slowly started to forget about his prophecy. It didn’t bother what ‘falling from the sky’ could mean.
That is, until one day six Omaticayas Na’vi fell from the sky on the fair sand of Awa’atlu beach.
