Sure this entire day had really felt like an honest to goodness romantic date, but saying 'girlfriend' was way too presumptuous. On the other hand, she didn't want to go with just 'friend' and risk hurting Mizuki, as well as potentially losing whatever was burgeoning between them. 'Group mate' was both too impersonal and meant that she would have to explain nightcord to Futaba, so what she eventually settled on was, "-we hang out."
