They exit the theatre, and Inasa checks the time on his phone—it’s only ten at night. What to do now? Neither of them have patrol or any other work in the morning. Would it be improper to suggest they do more? But he’s just so happy to be with him like this—
“Take me home,” Todoroki says then, and Inasa’s heart and hopes drop to the floor.
“Why? Are you sure?” He tries not to sound desperate, but he’s not sure he’s succeeding. “We can get coffee first, there’s this cafe nearby—”
“No, thanks,” Todoroki says flatly. “Just take me home.”
Todoroki finally agrees to go on a date with Inasa.
