FAQ:

FORMATTING YOUR STORY
1. Entries based on other media including books, movies, tv shows etc. need to include a note crediting the source of inspiration or adaptation.
2. You should include this disclaimer for the use of Harry Potter themes and characters: All canon character, plots, and situations from the Harry Potter series belong to JK Rowling. I am not profiting from this work.
3. You should include this thank you for your beta if you used one: Thank you to my beta for their time and work on this story. (No personal notes or names please.)
4. DO NOT include an aesthetic in the body of your submission until after the competition has ended.
5. Scene breaks should be indicated with the horizontal line available on AO3 rich text option. The more personalized xXx type scene breaks are no longer allowed to help preserve author anonymity.

Rules:

RULES
1. No original characters in the main pairing. If you need an OC in a side pairing you must message an admin to let us know.
2. You may only submit one story that you are listed as author on. This does mean that you cannot submit a story that you wrote yourself and one that you co-wrote. You will have to pick one story to be part of.
3. You may have ONE beta/support person/alpha reader. This is the ONLY person that should know which story belongs to you. From this point forward, sharing which story you wrote with more than one person will be grounds for disqualification. It simply isn’t fair to the people who follow this request.
4. Be aware of your “signature” style or pairing. If it is particularly identifying, try to avoid it. For example, Golden Snitch loves to write Scorose. She tends to write them a specific way together. It would make her story easy to identify if she entered a Scorose, so she avoids this pairing in the OS competitions when she is entering.
5. It is mandatory for writers who enter to participate in the voting.
