This is a pretty broad topic but this gist is that your fic should draw inspiration from a Fairy Tale or have fairy tale elements (I.e. transformation, magic, monsters, costumes, ect.).

Is this event open to people who aren't on the discord server?

Yes! Simply upload to ao3 with the collection tag to join. Your work will be reviewed before addition.

Do I have to join the discord?

MUST include both the prompt and pokemon as a series. Being that we're Kieran-focused, including him will mean more engagement. It's recommended but not required.
