What kind of content can I create for Obito Week?

Anything! Fanfiction, Fanart, AMV’s, Cosplays, Playlists, Moodborads - anything! As long as it celebrates Obito all the forms of fandom creations are welcome!

When does Obito Week take place?

In 2025 Obito Week is from the 10th to the 16th of February - right over his birthday!

How does the bingo card work?

You choose for yourself several prompts, for example one for each day, and create content for them. Each time you upload something with said prompt you can cross it off your bingo card. Who knows, maybe you will have a bingo by the end of the event!

Do I have to fulfil all the prompts on the bingo card for the event?

No, of course not. You can do as many or as little prompts as you like. There is no need to contribute every day if you don’t find the time. It is not necessary to aim for a bingo to take part in this event.

Can I combine prompts?

Yes, absolutely. Go wild! If you want to write one story with all of them you 100% can (and earn the mods endless admiration in the process.)

What does “Free Spot” stand for?

You can insert any prompt or AU or idea here that you like. It’s a freebie on your way to your bingo!

Is shipping allowed?

Yes! Age appropriate ships are allowed. See our rules for more information.

Are reader inserts / self inserts or oc’s allowed?

All the mods in this event are strongly in favour of the inclusion of reader insert and OC writers in fandom events, so yes, you are very welcome to join.

Are NSFW stories allowed?

Yes, of course! We ask however that you tag it accordingly and put it under a readmore.

Are stories that don’t have Obito in them, but are about him allowed?

Yes, as long as Obito is the focus.

Can I submit an older creation I have made?

No, you have to create new content for this event.

How do I submit my finished creation?

You can upload it to your own tumblr blog and use the hashtag #ObitoWeek2025 and / or tag this blog directly with @obito-week.

Will there be an AO3 collection for this event?

Yes, a few days before the start of this event one of the mods will open a collection for you to add your stories to.

Are late submissions allowed?

Yes, we will continue to accept submissions for two weeks after the event ends.

Is this event also being held on twitter?

At the moment there are no plans to host this event on twitter as well. However, you can of course post your own creations there.

Can I crosspost my creation with another event?

Yes, you can crosspost with other events if you like.

Be mindful of others. Don’t ship-bash, insult, criticise without being asked to or otherwise disrespect other people taking part in this event and their content.
All the creations need to be focused on Obito. He does not need to be actually in a story, as long as they are still mainly about him.
You have to submit new works to this event. They can be very short, or simply just a headcanon, but they have to be posted during the duration of the event or the late submission period.
Any AI made content, be it art, fic or music is not allowed.
Any content is allowed, no matter if NSFW and dark or violent. Please tag anything accordingly, provide correct trigger warnings and put sensitive content under a readmore.
For NSFW content all characters need to be at least 16 years of age.
For ships with a larger age gap than 5 years both characters have to have met as adults in the canon story. Characters that never met / cross gen are fair game.
The mod reserves the right to not reblog anything that does not adhere to these rules, is inappropriate or otherwise doesn’t fit this event.
