We all know the scenario…

Our favourite characters are staying somewhere - be it a hotel, the Burrow, or another location - and (gasp) there’s not quite enough beds for everyone to have their own. This is, of course, followed by the age-old predicament of whether they’ll share the bed, or if one of them will sleep on the floor or sofa. And if someone does sleep on the floor or sofa, do they stay there all night, or end up in the bed anyway?

With that in mind, we thought it would be fun to come up with some other “only one” things for our favourite Harry Potter characters to be faced with.

How do they determine who gets the last slice of cake?
How do they react when their familiar decides to “adopt” another human?
Oh no! There’s only one working shower in the changing room. What to do?!

This fest is run from Lauren's Kitchen. You’ll need to be a member to participate. Any writer over the age of 18 can join, as long as you answer the joining questions.

This is NOT an anonymous fest. You may openly talk about your involvement and ideas for your fic, etc.

You must have an AO3 account to participate. If you don't have an AO3 account, contact a member of the admin team to get an invitation.

This is a Harry Potter fest. Any Harry Potter characters/pairings are allowed.

No crossovers with other fandoms, please.

Rare pairs and triads/multi pairings are welcome!

Gen fics (no romantic relationships) are also welcome!

No incest, paedophilia, bestiality or necrophilia.

Threesomes and moresomes involving members of the same family (Ex: Hermione paired with both Fred and George) are welcome as long as any sexual content/contact does not directly happen between the blood-related family members.

As in the HP universe, we go by British law on the age of consent: 16 years of age.
