I've written my story. How do I submit?
-Stories are due to the Archive for approval by July 10th at 9 pm EST (NO EXCEPTIONS)
-When you are ready, please make sure to add your story to the collection on Ao3 when uploading. The collection is called PersonalLibrary. Once you hit upload/submit, your story will be added to the collection for approval. An admin will check to ensure that your fic is complete and follows guidelines before approving. If you have difficulties with this process, please contact us immediately.
- Link to collection: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/PersonalLibrary/profile
-When tagging your story, make sure to use the Archive Warning options. We will not approve your story if you tag it as 'Choose Not To Use Archive Warnings.' You must make sure to tag any and all trigger warnings, etc.
-Complete the form that will be attached in the email regarding your prompt collection.
-An Admin will then moderate and post your submission.
*Please note that we will not approve your story unless you have filled out the form giving the admin in charge the information required.*
How does voting work?
-You will have 1 week to read and vote. All stories are 1000 words or less which means they are quick reads.
-Members and authors will vote by rating stories in three categories on a scale of 1 to 5, giving each story a score out of 15.
-1 being your least favorite and 5 being your most favorite in each category.
- The categories that will be voted on are: Spelling & Grammar, Interpretation of the Quote Prompt, and Overall Quality of the drabble.
-You MUST rate each story fairly.
-ALL participating authors are expected to vote. If you do not vote, then your story will be removed from the challenge, forfeiting your participation banner.
-The ratings given by the readers for each story will be summed together. The stories will be placed in a ranking order of 1 to the total number of entries. The top 13 will be listed in the group and those authors will be notified when to claim a new prompt.
-If you vote one story a 5 in all categories and all other votes a 1, your votes will be removed and you will be asked to vote again. If it happens a second time, your vote will just be deleted.
-If you share the link to vote and an admin is made aware of the situation either by scrolling through another group or from the votes received, your story and votes will be immediately disqualified.
-You are encouraged to leave kudos and comments on the works that you enjoy as you are reading. Just remember, what you view as constructive criticism may not be the same as what someone else views it as. All of these people volunteered to participate because this is their hobby and they enjoy writing.
**** Email collection is turned on to eliminate the padding of votes ****

- If for some reason you have to withdraw from the event, you must email the [email protected] as soon as possible with the details as to why you must withdraw. We also ask that you inform us of this prior to 24 hours before the fics are due for the round so that we are not waiting around twiddling our thumbs as we wait for a fic that is not going to be submitted.

-You may only submit ONE story for this competition in each round that participate in.
-Stories for Round 1 are due July 10th by 9 pm EST to the collection. (See below how to submit your story.) Voting will open July 11th at 9 am EST.
-This difference in time is to give the admin team a chance to read through the fics to make sure that all rules have been followed. We recommend that you get your stories in early in case there is something that goes against our rules, you then have time to rewrite pieces of your story. (Yes we know this is strict, but the rules are in place for a reason.)
-This is anonymous so that when Hermione has made her selection at the end of Round 3, it will be a surprise to everyone.
-This means that if you have been eliminated in Round 1, you cannot reveal your story until the competition comes to a close. There are 3 rounds.
-Absolutely no aesthetics can be added to your work until after the challenge is over. In addition, we ask that you wait until the end of the competition comes around
