This is a straightforward event: no signups, all fanworks, any level of participation! There are no minimum or maximum requirements, and you may post works according to any prompt of your liking, or even a combination of the day’s prompts.

When you’re finished, post your rare pair fanwork on AO3 and any social media of your choice on the corresponding date. Time zones are not of concern.

If you enjoy another participant’s works, leave them a comment and a kudos!

More Info

• On AO3, you must add your fanwork to this collection. You may tag it with QZGS Rare Pair Week 2022.
• We do not mind if you post out of order or late, but the collection will close by the end of March, so we'd prefer if you submitted your works before then.
• If you are including your contribution to RPW in an existing work that is otherwise unrelated to RPW*, such as a compilation of ficlets or drabbles, then a) it must have the event tag; and b) you must specify in the summary or the tags section which chapter has the pairing. And don't forget to tag the work with the pairing, too.
• The main object of RPW is to increase the number of works under rare pair tags (or create new tags altogether; we like ambition), so we prefer that participants submit new works to the event.

* Adding on to an existing work that IS related to past RPW events is also allowable, in the condition that you are tagging a pairing that was previously not included in the tags. This does not apply to fics where you include a rare pair as a background relationship or something similar. If you want to "continue" a previous RPW work that features the same pairing(s), then please make it into a series and submit the new work separately.

• Popular pairings may be referenced or featured as long as they remain background characters.
• All NSFW and sensitive themes should be tagged accordingly, especially Underage.
• Ships may be platonic or romantic.
• Respect other participants and ships.
