Summary
It all happened so fast.
When Reki was nearing the finish line to confront his friend after so much radio static, he’d seen the “Matador of Love” himself emerging from the shadows. Reki felt his gut twist as the older man called out to his friend, “Snoooooow,” dripping with a vile seductiveness as he waltzed toward the blue-haired boy.
Not for the first time around Adam, Reki saw red.
He didn’t even get the chance to hear what the pervy /ossan/ said to Langa in that suggestive voice so like a purr because Reki, now running at full speed towards the scene with another “LANGAAAA!” had cut directly between his friend and whatever crude advance Adam was in the middle of making to grab his friend’s face with both hands and plant a long, breathless kiss… /directly/ on the other boy’s lips.

Summary
Reki’s gaze shifts to a loose thread on his blanket, pulling at it listlessly. “I don't want to be a burden, you know? You don’t have to do anything for me.”
“I’m not doing anything for you, Reki. I’m doing it with you,” Langa replies simply, like it’s nothing, and Reki’s heart splinters.
Or: Reki’s struggling to cope with the aftermath of his beef with Adam, and Langa’s willing to do anything to help him heal.

“It’s alright kid, you can tell me.”
Reki fidgets a bit.
“What if I’m not good enough for him?”
And then, softer this time,
“What if he regrets being with me?”
