OVERVIEW
Ao3 does not require any tags beyond the archive warnings, so, in accordance with the rules, not all fics are thoroughly tagged. So sometimes readers stumble across fics where the tags don't warn them of "dark" content or they simply see the summaries/tags for fics they would like brain bleach to forget.

This collection is meant to serve as an informal filter for that dark content so that people can search for smut without running into untagged dubcon and other triggering things.

THERE'S A FIC HERE THAT DOESN'T BELONG
Here is also where you can report any fics in the collection that do not meet the collection's criteria.

1. MEMBERSHIP – This collection relies on its members to use their best judgment when inviting authors to add their smut to the collection. If a fic that contravenes the criteria of this collection slips in, you can report it here and it will be removed without questions.

2. CONSENT – Consent does not need to be explicitly stated, but it should be inarguable that all parties are enthusiastically consenting. If it seems in question, then the fic doesn't qualify for this collection.
—2a. This means that smut where characters are in altered mental states (ie, from alcohol, drugs, concussions, sex pollen, fuck or die, etc) cannot be included in this collection.
—2b. To be thorough, smut that includes consensual roleplay of rape shouldn't go in this collection, either. The idea is that this collection will exclude content that glorifies rape culture.

3. AGE – All participants in the smut must be at least 18. This includes fics set in fantasy settings.
—3a. Fics set in the future, so that characters who are minors in canon are of age in the fic, are permitted as long as they meet this age guideline.
—3b. But fics that include roleplay of pedophilia (ie, high school teacher/student roleplay) shouldn't go in this collection.

4. LBGTQA+ FRIENDLY – Smut that fetishizes a character's gender, sex, or orientation isn't permitted, such as "fujoshi" content. This includes virulently sexist dirty talk and objectification.

5. ANTI-RACIST – Fics that reinforce harmful racial stereotypes (for example, a reylo fic where Finn's portrayal is problematic) are not permitted.

6. ND FRIENDLY – No content that fetishizes neurodivergence. For example, yandere.

7. MISC BANNED CONTENT – The "kinks" banned from this collection are: incest, futanari, bestiality, death and gore during sex, and necrophilia.
—7a. Bestiality does not extend to human-like characters with full sentience (except for pokémon; no poképhilia).

8. WIPS – If the author chose not to use archive warnings, don't add their wip to the collection in case there is sensitive material in future chapters.
—8a. Unless the author affirms that their fic will meet the criteria of safe, sane, and consensual.

9. NO SEX REQUIRED - Works that are sensual without including graphic sex are permitted. But don't put G or T rated fics here.
