Summary
In an alternate universe where abilities are replaced by magic, Atsushi is a new mage at the Arcane Detective Agency, an organization devoted to training specialized mages in the protection of the city.
When a dangerous alchemist is rumored to have arrived in Yokohama, Atsushi is partnered with Akutagawa, head archivist & infamous warlock at the Library of Incantations, Enchantment, and Sorcery.
Akutagawa is piercing, strict, and ruthless (and for some reason, seems to harbor a grudge against Atsushi), but when a cursed fog threatens to fall over Yokohama, they must work together to restore their reality.

Summary
Five months, two weeks, and three days had passed since Atsushi turned into a tiger. Akutagawa was starting to think he would never turn back. At first he thought it was the influence of some nefarious ability, but even the touch of Dazai's ability was ineffective. Akutagawa was all but resigned to care for his partner, or what was left of him, for what little remained of his life. Frequently spotted roaming the streets of Yokohama, the mafia man and his tiger became a news sensation.
We follow Akutagawa as he navigates his new life with a tiger who follows him like a shadow, the nosy reporters who demand nothing but more, and a heart patient enough to wait forever for his partner's return yet yearns for the connection that remains muffled beneath layers of white striped fur.

Summary
No one had warned Akutagawa how much grooming a longhaired cat needed.
Not only that, no one had warned him how difficult said grooming would be when his cat had a temper that almost matched his.
That is how Akutagawa ended up standing in front of the door for the Animal Daycare Atelier, home of pet groomer Atsushi, cat specialist and, to Akutagawa's opinion, local nuisance.

Summary
Atsushi is a gem appraiser who works for the Authentic Design Aggregate and Co., who is paired with their master designer and artisan Akutagawa. They're tasked with making a necklace befitting a young girl of extravagant tastes.
They visit a trade company by the port, where Atsushi is bewitched by their collection—and their staff! They find the lustrous garnet they need, go back and tell their boss about it, and gets to work designing and creating the piece. Unbeknownst to her, Atsushi must parse through her feelings about Akutagawa, her rejection issues, and be finished with her part of the appraisal within a month's time.
Can she do it? Probably, yes. Will she is the better question.
