Summary
In a world that is much more magical than before, all sorts of creatures inhabit the Earth. More importantly, these creatures also fight in human armies. Though the Empire is quite strong, it's supernatural auxiliaries have always been a shortcoming, one that might cost them the war if it continues. So an assignment is given to the Argent herself to secure a group of these creatures to enlist into the Imperial military.
With this task in mind, Tanya takes to some of the oldest forests of the Empire to conscript a notably powerful group of werewolves that call them home, where she has to compete for dominance with their chieftain, Visha, to decide if she comes home victorious... Or is put on her back in defeat.
