Shinyverse is, as described by our CEO: our 'get rich quick scheme', in which Hawks hires people to work at his agency based on their shinyness, and they all bully him with love, large mirrors and disco balls.
The origins of Shinyverse Inc. begin in the depths of the CTABB Discord writing channel, where a simple question of "Why do I like to write Hawks getting bullied by his employees?" quickly spiraled into a multi-hour discussion of Hawks and his bird traits, and how they would affect the running of his agency. What started as a simple, almost rhetoric inquery soon became an obsession with Hawks' obsession with shiny things. Five days later, on January 29, 2021, Shinyverse Incorporated was officially established to provide for all our Shiny Hawks needs.

Summary
Letting Dabi figure out that Hawks had a thing for his clear manner of speech was probably one of the biggest mistakes the hero had ever made.
Well, depending on who you asked.
Dabi loved it. All he had to do was enunciate a little more than usual and Hawks was a flustered mess, words slurring together in that adorable accent of his as he struggled to respond.

Dabi's office could outshine the sun. Maybe not, but his burnt retinas surely think so. Shiny fucking paperclips. Is there a dumber business? And to top it, his co-workers are exactly the type of people you'd think they hire in a place like this. A couple ex-convicts, dropouts, nerds, and nobody is really sure what Giran is. The point, Dabi's life sucks. And it's because of the shiny.
Or so he thought, until the new secretary joins their team of fuck ups, and he seems to really appreciate the shiny paperclips, and to Dabi's delight, his piercings.
Maybe it's not such a dreary existence.
Or: basically, a The Office/League of Villains au, in which Shigaraki is assistant to the regional manager and Dabi tries to seduce the new employee with shiny coffee and bad jokes.
