I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys writing fics based off of songs so I thought I'd make a collection for them.

What does song based mean?
It means that the work was inspired by a song, or written based on the lyrics of a song.

Do fics written about a band count?
Only if they are inspired by a song and not just about the band.

What about band/singer AU fics?
Possibly.

What about fics that include songs?
That might be pushing it, but sure.
