SPACE SWAP is a multimedia exchange for space fandoms of all sorts, including television series, movies, and books. The only criterion for a fandom to be eligible is that it somehow be related to SPACE.

To participate, you need to be 18+ and an adult in your jurisdiction. By participating, you guarantee that the works produced are made by you alone. Usage of generative AI (for instance, ChatGPT or DALL-E) or any other program that automates the creative process is strictly prohibited.

Space Swap runs along typical exchange lines: participants will sign up with requests and offers, will be matched via AO3, and will receive an assignment. By signing up, participants agree to make a fannish creation for their assigned participant. In turn, someone will make a fannish creation for them.

When signing up, you will need to request at least 3 fandoms, and can request up to 8. You'll also need to offer at least 3 fandoms, and can offer up to 10.

For each fandom, you can request from 1 to 15 nominated tags. Tags will all be in the character slot, but might be solo characters, relationships (both romantic/sexual and platonic), or worldbuilding.

For each fandom, you must offer 1 to 20 of the nominated tags.

The minimum fannish creation requirements are:

Fic - 1,000 words
Vid - 1 minute
Art - 1 original illustration
Podfic - 1,000 words of an existing story podficced OR 500 words of a new story written and podficced
Interactive Fiction - 1,000 words total OR 3 different endings
