Summary
Millicent froze. She needed to leave. Now.
She glanced around, spotting Rhodes. She lunged, pouncing on him. He flinched, rearing back, his head ramming against the ground below. She bit down on his shoulder, her venom seeping in.Rhodes shouted-
Millicent was thrown aside. She scrambled to her feet, her tail thrashing in rage. Iron Man crouched over Rhodes, shouting something.
A perfect distraction.
Millicent turned tail and leapt off the side of the rooftop, sprinting down the alleyway. The distant sound of an engine grew closer, reaching the alleyway within moments.
Captain America.
Millicent took a second to gawk and stare. The shield flying by inches from her face next to her snapped her out of it. She turned tail, taking a sharp turn to the next alleyway. The rev of the engine was close behind her.
Seconds behind.
She glanced up at the rooftops above as she ran. She snorted, shaking her head. She couldn’t fly. Not now.
She pushed herself harder. Picking up speed, she burst into an open street.
DANGER!

Summary
Peter Parker should’ve stayed home that day. Maybe then he wouldn’t have different powers. Maybe then he wouldn’t be in a different timeline where not a single soul has heard the name ‘Peter Parker’. Nor Spiderman. But it's not like he could go by that title anymore now.
Not if the wings in his back had anything to say about it.
Or, when Strange casts the spell to make everyone forget who Peter is, he messes it up. And transports Peter Parker to a world where he doesn’t exist.
And at some point during the transport, his powers got messed up. That was the understatement of the year.
