Officially, on his timetable, he’s a student aide during this period. Hermione’s suggestion, something to do with resumes and post-grad applications. He can’t imagine that anything he’s doing third-year will really impact his future professional success, but whatever. He likes drinking Professor Lupin’s tea and asking inane questions about defense. And recently, getting actual additional defense lessons. Not much student-aiding is actually happening.
It’s all very awesome-sauce.
