Summary
Initially, Viktor had his doubts about the new science teacher. It didn’t seem rational that a man who looked that good with a full beard and relatively unkempt longer hair was going to be able to effectively teach the AP Physics course Viktor had been looking forward to for two whole years. But on the very first day, after a pleasant enough introduction, Jayce stood at the front of the class and asked why you probably aren’t going to get a sunburn through a glass window.
And after Christian, who was quite pleased with himself, answered that UV light cannot travel through glass, Mr. Talis asked again.
“You’re mostly right. UVB and most UVA light can’t travel through the standard glass window. But why?”
Viktor thinks that might have been the moment he fell in love with Jayce Talis. Which is quite an inconvenience seeing as Viktor is seventeen, Jayce is thirty-two, and, as was mentioned before, Jayce is Viktor’s physics teacher. Still, the inconvenience of it doesn’t keep Viktor from daydreaming.
And maybe, just maybe, his teacher has been daydreaming about him too...
