Jaskier made a deal with a witch in exchange for eternal youth. He didn’t mind paying the price at the time, but if he ever wants to break the curse he must find “true love”. In other words, someone who loves him for the person he is. He’ll never want to undo such a gift, so it really doesn’t bother him that the curse goes unbroken for decades. No, it doesn’t bother him at all.
