“Iida,” he said softly, mostly just to alert his student to his presence.
The boy turned his head slightly to look up at him. Shouta kept his face passive, but the look Iida gave him was heartbreaking. Red eyes, pale complexion, pain written all over his face. Aizawa’s stomach twisted. This wasn’t just sickness, and his chances of getting sleep tonight were diminishing. He pushed the thought from his mind. His own needs didn’t matter at the moment.
“Hello, Mr. Aizawa. I’m sorry to bother you as well,” He said softly, his voice scratchy.
“Not a problem, don’t apologize,” Aizawa scolded. These kids and their self-sacrificing nobility would be the end of him. “What happened?”
In which Aizawa just wants his students to be okay, Midoriya just wants to help his friend, and everyone really needs a nap.

Summary
Perhaps it was the city that was cursed, destined to swallow men alive no matter their morality or strength, so long as Stain had once roamed its streets. For some reason, Iida felt himself in that moment worried for Manual, or perhaps even for Endeavor, but mostly once again for Tensei, even though his brother had already been discharged days before and was safely back at home with their parents. It was a fear Iida could not shake, as if the Hero Killer’s hate could still slither into the throats of survivors no matter how far they fled, clotted and murky and ready to strangle them from the inside out—
“Iida?”
(Following the harrowing defeat of the Hero Killer Stain, Midoriya, Todoroki, and Iida spend their first night in Hosu General Hospital--where Iida has an awful lot troubling him.)

Soulmates are forged, not born. They leave their mark on you, and your heart. These bonds we forge leave marks on our hearts and our bodies. A declaration that we love and are loved.
A brief platonic soulmates au centered around Izuku.
